Are you or a loved one experiencing the pain of heroin addiction? Do you live in fear of contracting Hepatitis or HIV or suffering an accidental overdose? Let Insight help. Insight has paved the road to recovery for many. Since 1965, we have been devoted to helping people in situations just like yours. Our mission and sole focus is to help clients and their families by providing effective, high quality, affordable treatment.
Insight's trained medical staff assesses all clients in need of detoxification and dispenses the appropriate medications. Insight uses the safest and most effective medications for heroin withdrawal.
Insight's philosophy is that heroin addiction is a disease which is progressive in nature, and which can be interrupted, but not cured, through professional treatment. Our treatment is based on a 12 step, disease model philosophy. Insight provides educational groups, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and recreational therapy to help the client recover.
Insight's treatment team assesses each client in order to develop a comprehensive treatment strategy that addresses that individual's unique needs. We consider all factors including family, medical and psychiatric health, as well as occupational and legal circumstances.
Residential treatment is only the first stop on the road to recovery. Research overwhelmingly shows that clients who attend therapy and self help groups after discharge have the most successful outcomes. Upon completion clients are provided with a detailed aftercare plan. Each plan is individualized with input from the treatment team, client and client's family, when appropriate. We believe in aftercare so strongly we offer a weekly aftercare group for one year after completion of the program for free.
All clients have individual rooms and confidentiality. For our out-of-state guests, we offer complementary pick up from the airport.
