Insight's residential program has been located at the Colombiere Center for over 30 years. This beautiful facility is nestled on 420 rolling acres of mature pines and hardwoods located in Clarkston Michigan. Our facility is conveniently located within an hour drive of Detroit, Flint or Lansing and 45 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport.

Private Rooms for all Guests

All clients have private bedrooms.

Recreational Facilities

The facility features such amenities as an outdoor heated swimming pool which is open seasonally from May through September. The gymnasium is set up for volleyball, basketball or badminton, as well as general exercising.

Our Staff

The Insight staff consists of a group of professionals who are dedicated to the client's recovery and personal well-being. During treatment, each client is under the supervision of a physician. The Insight Staff have specialized credentials in the area of medical, nursing, and clinical treatment, who work to promote motivational and educational activities. They include social workers, psychologists, addiction counselors, physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, activity therapists, nutritionists, and many others. Our staff have many years of experience and has successfully treated thousands of clients.

We review our staff's credentials and skills on a regular basis to ensure that their skills continue to be the best possible. Also, we provide them with additional training and skill development activities. When clients come to us for treatment, we make every effort to match the client with a staff member who has the best skills to meet their needs.

Our Classrooms and Lunchroom

In our classrooms we conduct our group therapy, educational lectures, and other activities. Our rooms are comfortably furnished with large windows that overlook the beautiful woods surrounding the facility. Our dining area is spacious enough to accommodate both clients and staff. The meals are served cafeteria-style.

Our Welcome Area and Surroundings

A large, comfortable, beautifully decorated lobby greets guests. The Colombiere Center is surrounded by Shepherd's Hollow, a 27 hole public golf course. It has been acclaimed as one of Michigan's finest golf courses.
